The Feline Historical Museum is often busy with scheduled events in the museum, or events that take us away to have a traveling booth display somewhere in the USA.
And, on occasion, we've been known to have cats wandering around the museum for several days. Our past schedule has featured Maine Coon, Persians, Ragdolls, Orientals, Ocicats, and even Siberians. Keep an eye on our calendar for a chance at a "kitten fix" day.
Effective July 22, 2026, our museum hours will be 11am-43m, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday visits will be by appointment only (requires 7 days advance notification to catmuseum1@gmail.com) Please check our calendar below for any temporary closures. We hope you add us to your future excursion plans.

August 19-21: The Feline Historical Museum will have a "Celebrity Cat" on these days. GC, RW, AGN Shera Len Sprite, a ruddy Abyssinian male, will be visiting to show off his agility skills. He was named CFA's Best Cat in Agility at the June annual awards banquet.
July 2026
July 22: The Feline Historical Museum will reopen on this date. Our regular hours/days will be 11am to 3pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We will have British Shorthairs running the museum on July 22 and 24. Maine Coons will be available for snuggles on July 23.
July 30-31: We will have live cats - Birmans and British Shorthairs running the museum on July 30 (Birmans) and 31 (British Shorthair).
February 13: The Museum will re-open to visitors, Monday-Friday,
10am-4pm.

Saturday, July 22: The Museum will hold a CHRISTMAS IN JULY sale. Time 10am-3pm. Numerous previously-owned Christmas items will be on sale: Lenox, Possible Dreams, Bill Ball, etc.

October 13: The Museum will be closed for set up at the CFA International Cat Show, I-X Center, Cleveland, OH
October 14-15: The Museum will have a booth at the CFA International Cat Show at the I-X Center, Cleveland, OH
January 1: Museum will be CLOSED for New Year's Day
January 8-February 3: Museum will be CLOSED
January 11-12: Booth at Houston Cat Club show, George R. Brown

January 25-26: Booth at San Diego Cat Fanciers show, Del Mar, CA.
